A two day National Seminar is organized by Amity Law School, Amity University Uttar Pradesh Lucknow Campus on the topic “Legal and Poetic Values of Vanavil K. Ravi” by the faculty conveners, Dr. Amarendra Kumar Srivastava, Ms. Jyotsna Singh and the Faculty Co-convenors Dr. Taru Mishra, Ms. Anupriya Yadav and Dr. Shashya Mishra. The opening remarks were given by the Faculty Convener Ms. Jyotsna Singh. The seminar was inaugurated on Friday at 11: 05 a.m. by Wg. Cdr. (Dr.) Anil Kumar (Retd.) Ravi Poet and Lawyer at Madras High Court, Tamil Nadu, and Dr. Laxmikant Sharma, Principal DAV College ,Ajmer along with the Chief Guest ,Hon’ble Mr. Justice K.S. Rakhra, Former Judge High Court of Judicature , Allahabad. Thereafter, the Chairperson of the event Prof. Dr. J.P. Yadav, Director, Amity Law School, Amity University Lucknow Campus addressed and welcomed the guests. Patron of the event, Wg. Cdr. (Dr.) Anil Kumar (Retd.) ,Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor Amity University Uttar Pradesh Lucknow Campus threw light on the vision of Amity University and building a knowledge power.
Prof. (Dr.) N. Laxmi Iyar Department of Hindi, Central University of Rajasthan, briefed about the book, Prahalad – The Epic – and Songs of Faith (Short Poems) written by Vanavil K. Ravi. Dr. KA Rajaram, Director, Tamil Cultural Research Center (TCRC) and Dr. Laxmikant Sharma, Principal DAV College, Ajmer praised Vanavil K. Ravi and his writings. Guest of Honour Vanavil K. Ravi Poet & Lawyer at Madras High Court, Tamil Nadu highlighted the importance of poets and women empowerment. Chief Guest, Hon’ble Mr. Justice K.S. Rakhra, Former Judge High Court of Judicature, Allahabad addressed the importance of literature and the Indian Constitution in the field of Law.
The inauguration ceremony concluded with the felicitation of the patron of the event Wg. Cdr. (Dr.) Anil Kumar (Retd.) Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh Lucknow Campus, the chairperson of the event Prof. Dr. J.P. Yadav, Director, Amity Law School, Amity University Lucknow Campus, and the convener of the event, Prof. (Dr.) Amarendra Kumar Srivastava, and to the Chief Guest Hon’ble Mr. Justice K.S.
