Lex Gazette Academy stands as an independent, academic, and research-driven institution, established under the patronage of the Ram Shree Education Research and Social Welfare Foundation a not-for-profit organization registered under the Madhya Pradesh Societies Registration Act and duly listed with the NITI Aayog, Government of India. Functioning as the dedicated educational and intellectual arm of the Foundation, the Academy is committed to advancing quality education, cutting-edge research, and interdisciplinary innovation that responds to the dynamic needs of society. ABOUT THE FACULTY OF LAW, VGU
At Department of Law, Vivekananda Global University, our focus is to develop and advance interdisciplinary legal education and scholarship. We challenge normative pedagogy and believe in establishing and implementing new approaches towards teaching and learning which lead the University to NAAC A+ accreditation in a short span of a decade since its inception. DETAILS ABOUT THE EVENT/OPPORTUNITY
Research and academic writing are the cornerstones of higher education, innovation, and intellectual growth. For students and early-career scholars, the ability to identify research problems, analyze them critically, and present findings in a structured and impactful manner is not only an academic requirement but also a pathway to conferences, peer-reviewed publications, fellowships, and future opportunities in academia, policy, and industry.
This five-day workshop on Research Methodology and Academic Writing is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive foundation in research skills and scholarly communication. The programme will offer step-by-step guidance on selecting a relevant research topic, conducting a systematic literature review, framing research questions, designing an appropriate methodology, and crafting well-structured research papers and articles. Participants will also gain practical training in referencing techniques, citation management tools, plagiarism policies, and the journal publication process in reputed, double-blind, peer-reviewed national and international journals.
Through a blend of interactive sessions, expert-led lectures, and hands-on exercises, the workshop emphasizes experiential learning and skill-building. By the end of the programme, participants will not only acquire the technical know-how of academic writing but also the confidence to transform ideas into impactful research outputs that meet global academic standards.
Intended Outcomes: The workshop seeks to enable participants to conceptualize and frame researchable problems, critically engage with existing scholarship, design and apply suitable methodologies, and acquire proficiency in academic writing. Participants will also learn to use citation and referencing tools effectively, adhere to plagiarism policies, and navigate the publication process with competence. Ultimately, the initiative aims to cultivate originality, academic integrity, and confidence, empowering participants to publish their work in reputed national and international journals and contribute meaningfully to academia, policymaking, and industry-driven research.
