A. Ashritha Earns Best Memorial Award at Avantika’s Nyayshastra 2nd Pan India Moot Court Competition 2025

LawFoyer’s Achievers’ Archive proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of A. Ashritha, a dedicated fourth year BBA LLB student from K. L. University, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, who has brought home the Best Memorial Award at Avantika University’s Nyayshastra 2nd Pan India Moot Court Competition 2025. This recognition is a testament to her commitment, discipline and growing excellence in the field of legal research.

The competition, held on 25th and 26th September 2025, hosted talented teams from across the country. The final results were declared on 13th October 2025, and among the many brilliant entries, Ashritha’s team stood out with a memorial that displayed clarity, legal depth, structured reasoning and sharp analytical skill. Securing this award at a national level platform is no small feat, especially given the rigor associated with memorial drafting where precision, originality and legal insight determine excellence.

What makes this achievement even more inspiring is Ashritha’s personal journey throughout the event. Having previously participated in several moot court competitions as a speaker, she chose to challenge herself this time by taking on the role of Researcher. This marked a new chapter in her mooting career. She embraced the shift with enthusiasm and delivered outstanding work. She shared that the researcher’s test was not only challenging but also deeply enriching. It allowed her to dive into layers of legal issues, understand facts with clarity, and contribute meaningfully to her team’s performance.

This edition of Nyayshastra Moot Court was also the team’s first online moot, which added another layer of difficulty. Managing coordination, research, drafting and rehearsals in an online environment requires exceptional teamwork and adaptability. Yet, Ashritha and her teammates, K. Hema Madhavi (Speaker 1) and G.N. Bhaveshyaa (Speaker 2), rose above every obstacle. Their perseverance paid off when the long awaited trophy finally arrived on 25th November 2025, turning their patience and hard work into a cherished memory.

Ashritha expressed her heartfelt happiness on receiving this award. For her, this achievement symbolizes growth, teamwork and resilience. Taking on new responsibilities, navigating uncertainties and embracing different roles allowed her to evolve not only as a law student but also as a stronger legal thinker. The Best Memorial Award is a reflection of her dedication and the collective effort of her team, who supported one another at every step.

Competitions like Avantika’s Nyayshastra Moot Court play a crucial role in shaping young legal minds by encouraging creativity, research capability and courtroom awareness. By winning this award, Ashritha has set a powerful example for aspiring law students who wish to explore the world of mooting. Her story reminds students that stepping out of their comfort zone often leads to new strengths and unexpected achievements.

Today, LawFoyer proudly places A. Ashritha among its celebrated achievers. Her journey reflects how consistent effort, curiosity and courage to take up new roles can pave the path to excellence. We hope her achievement inspires many more budding legal professionals to dream big, stay committed and embrace every learning opportunity.
