ABOUT THE ORGANISER:
The Faculty of Law commonly known as ICFAI Law School is a constituent unit of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) a NAAC A++ accredited institution. ICFAI Law School is situated in the vibrant city of Hyderabad recognised as the most distinguished Law Institute of 2023 by The Knowledge Review, and excels as Telangana’s top law school per GHRDC 2023 rankings. DETAILS ABOUT THE EVENT/OPPORTUNITY:
The CONCORDIA Mediation Competition aims to provide students with a platform to hone their mediation and negotiation skills while promoting alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms. The competition will consist of multiple rounds where participants will engage in simulated mediation sessions, enhancing their ability to resolve disputes effectively.
The competition will witness participation from law students across the country, judged by esteemed professionals and experts in the field. It offers a unique opportunity for students to showcase their advocacy and mediation abilities while networking with like-minded individuals and ADR practitioners
WHO IS IT FOR / ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE
- Open to students pursuing a 3-year or 5-year LLB program from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Each university/college can send a maximum of two teams.
- Each team must consist of three members: a Mediating Pair (Client & Counsel) and a Mediator.
