Bharath Institute of Law (BIL), a constituent school of the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER), Chennai, is committed to providing world-class legal education with a focus on ethics, human rights, and social justice. Under the visionary leadership of Dr. R. Hariprakash (Additional Registrar) and Dr. K. Murugadoss (Dean), BIL emphasizes experiential learning through moot courts, internships, research initiatives, and community outreach, nurturing socially responsible legal professionals.

About the Conference

The escalating climate crisis poses one of the greatest global challenges of our time. The National Conference on “Climate Change and Sustainable Development: Pathways to a Resilient Future” aims to create an interdisciplinary platform for scholars, policymakers, legal experts, environmentalists, industry leaders, and students to deliberate upon urgent issues in climate governance, sustainability, and resilience.

The conference will feature keynote addresses, paper presentations, and discussions on innovative solutions, legal reforms, and policy strategies to address the environmental crisis while promoting equity and justice.

Authors of selected abstracts will be notified within 15 days post-conference for full paper publication.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract: 350–500 words with 5–6 keywords.
  • Full Paper: 3,000–4,000 words (post selection).
  • Citation Style: Indian Law Institute (ILI).
  • Co-authorship: Maximum of 2 authors.
  • All papers will undergo plagiarism and AI-content checks (max. 10% similarity permitted).
