About the College:

Mar Gregorios College of Law, established in 2012 amid the serene surroundings of Mar Ivanios Vidya Nagar, is an institution committed to excellence in legal education. Though relatively young, the college carries forward the legacy of the campus founded in 1949 by Archbishop Geevarghese Mar Ivanios. Named in honour of Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios, an illustrious humanist, economist, and educational visionary, the college embodies his ideals of knowledge, compassion, and service.

As Kerala’s first NAAC-accredited law college, MGCL has evolved into a centre of academic distinction and innovation. It offers five-year integrated B.A., B.B.A., and B.Com LL.B. programmes, along with a specialized LL.M. in Constitutional and Maritime Law. The college has been recognized nationally, including with the SILF-MILAT Institutional Excellence Award, and remains dedicated to nurturing competent, ethical, and socially responsible legal professionals. Beyond academics, MGCL fosters inquiry, creativity, and holistic learning, shaping leaders who serve with purpose and integrity.
