The University of Allahabad, often referred to as the “Oxford of the East,” is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in India. About the Event
The Faculty of Law, University of Allahabad is organising its National Moot Court competition on 8th and 9th March 2025.
This year’s moot proposition revolves around Criminal Law and Human Rights, pressing contemporary issues that challenge our legal and moral compass. This competition will provide an exceptional platform for aspiring law students to showcase their legal acumen, advocacy skills, and teamwork.

Eligibility
Members of the team must be an UNDERGRADUATE student (5 Year Integrated Programme after 12th or 3 Year Programme after graduation) from an Institution recognised by the Bar Council of India.

In order to confirm participation, teams of the interested institution should register themselves by filling the Pre Memorial Registration Form.

Last date for Pre- Memorial Registration & Seeking Clarifications – 26th January 2025
Release of Clarifications – 31st January, 2025
Last date for Submission of Memorials (soft copy) – 7th February, 2025
Release of List of Teams Qualifying Memorial Evaluation Round – 21st February, 2025
Last date for Final Registration and Payment of Registration fee – 28th February, 2025

Fee Details
There is no Registration Fee for The Pre- Memorial Registration round.
The Teams qualifying the Memorial Evaluation Round should register themselves by filling the Final Registration forms along with the fees of Rs 3500/- per team. Any team requiring accommodation will have to pay additional charge of Rs 1500/-.
