1. The Amikus Qriae (TAQ)
The Amikus Qriae is an online legal education platform established with the objective of disseminating legal knowledge and promoting a deeper understanding of various fields of law. It aims to contribute to contemporary legal issues and make legal knowledge and experience accessible throughout the legal fraternity.
The organisation is registered under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, and the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. According to the brochure, it is the 8th-largest legal ed-tech organisation in India, connected with more than one lakh law students and legal professionals.
2. Vocal Vakils
Vocal Vakils is a legal education and outreach platform rooted in the academic ecosystem of West Bengal. Founded on the philosophy of “Enquire, Enlighten, Empower,” it aims to provide accessible legal exposure to colleges and law students beyond the usual national circuit.
According to the brochure, Vocal Vakils has developed a nationwide network of over 1,100 law students, academicians and practising advocates. Its initiatives include debating tournaments, expert interviews and coverage of socio-legal issues. The organisation is registered under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India.
DETAILS ABOUT THE EVENT/OPPORTUNITY
The Amikus Qriae and Vocal Vakils are jointly organising the One-Day National Conference on Technology, ADR & IPR Laws on 31 October 2026.
The conference aims to bring together scholars, practitioners, judges and students to discuss emerging legal challenges at the intersection of technology, alternative dispute resolution and intellectual property rights. It also seeks to encourage original legal research through paper presentations, cash prizes, publication opportunities, internships and access to legal education resources.

The conference will focus on three principal areas:

Technology and Cyber Law: Artificial intelligence, machine learning, data protection, cybersecurity, blockchain, cryptocurrency, Web3, platform liability, digital payments and other emerging technological developments.

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): AI-generated content, patentability of AI and software inventions, trademarks in digital markets, IP licensing, traditional knowledge, geographical indications and data as intellectual property.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR): Online dispute resolution, arbitration in technology and IP disputes, cross-border arbitration, mediation, investor-state dispute settlement and AI in arbitration.

Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research papers addressing the conference themes and sub-themes. Interdisciplinary submissions relevant to the broader conference theme are also welcome.

A maximum of one co-author is permitted at the abstract stage.

Abstracts must be submitted in MS Word format (.doc/.docx) through the prescribed submission form.

Word limit: 3,000–5,000 words, including footnotes and references.

Maximum two authors per paper.

Submissions must be original and unpublished and must not be under consideration elsewhere. Plagiarism, unethical use of AI-generated content or academic misconduct beyond the specified limits may result in rejection.
Selected papers, subject to peer review and editorial approval, may be considered for publication in an ISBN/edited volume of a reputed book publisher.

1. Registration for Attendees/Delegates
Participants who wish to attend the conference without presenting a paper can register using the following form:

2. Abstract Submission and Paper Presenter Registration
Participants interested in presenting a research paper must submit their abstracts using the following form:

Procedure for paper presenters:

Prepare an original abstract of no more than 300 words.
-
Include the paper title, author details, institutional affiliation, contact information and up to five keywords.

Submit the abstract through the prescribed Google Form by 15 October 2026, at 11:59 PM IST.

Await notification of selection. The brochure’s submission guidelines state that selected abstracts will be notified by 18 October 2026 at the latest.

Upon selection, complete the registration process and pay the applicable fee.

Submit the final full paper/working paper by 28 October 2026, at 11:59 PM.
The authors of selected abstracts will receive registration instructions and payment information through email. After completing the required Google Form and payment process, participants will be added to the conference WhatsApp group for further communication.
3. Payment Procedure
Registration fees can be paid through bank transfer, UPI or the QR code provided in the registration form.
Participants should retain the payment receipt or screenshot as proof of payment and follow the organisers’ instructions for submitting proof of payment.
