Job brief

Retail Manager to provide oversight for all operations of our high-traffic boutique clothing store. The Retail Manager leads all operations at the location and is responsible for making sure the store functions smoothly while optimizing profits. The Retail Manager will direct restocking efforts, the floor merchandising plan, as well as conduct hiring, scheduling and training. In this position, the Retail Manager must be able to garner respect and motivate personnel to perform at their maximum capacity, keeping the store in good working order.

Responsibilities

Work with all the Supervisors on your area, developing, assessing and observing and checking completion of development

Develop close working relationships with the Design, Category Management, Merchandising and Creative & Photo Studio Teams to develop training materials

Attend Assistant Manager reviews with Operations Managers to facilitate ongoing development for individuals on our Career Pathway

In partnership with store manager and retail manager to enhance employees capabilities, observe talents and feedback on people development opportunities

Assist in development and manage roll out strategy for new and re-launching programs

To ‘business partner’ with District and Store Managers and provide an outstanding and collaborative service in all areas of training and development

Develop and train new Store Managers and newly promoted Store Managers

Requirements

  • Be fluent in training content and training process
  • Strong training and teaching skills
  • Excellent field subject knowledge
  • Language skills:  Hindi and English
  • Must have completed course into Fashion designing.
  • BSc degree in Education
  • Additional certification in training is a plus
